So...technically, i could have posted something more exotic, but i didn't have the pictures on this computer. I was lucky enough to go to Australia a few years ago, and that was my "cool" place to go, for sure.
But...for simplicities sake, I'll post a picture of somewhere that I love. This is White Pine Lake, near Tony's Grove in northern Utah. You have to hike back into this glacier lake, and it is beautiful and peaceful, and you always get to see gorgeous animals.
This time I hiked back with my then 5 year old. It's a quite long hike, and that little trooper didn't complain at all--until we were nearly back to camp (within about 15 feet!) anyway. We hiked up as part of an immediate (My Mom and Dad, their kids and grandkids) family reunion. It was great fun, and somewhere i always enjoy.
